I've never ever blogged on this blog before so yep. Well, there's always a first i guess.
To the current Zwinds band now, have faith in yourself, your section, your band and mr chew. That's all I can say to you guys now. We'd love to see you really really fulfill your capabilities and stop lacking confidence. Really, after everything we've taught you, you should shine. As in, really really really shine. So stop lacking faith. Play it out, put in effort. If you've said you've already tried, I'm sure you can see the improvement and that should encourage you to push further cuz you can. This is a wake up call. You want to see results for SYF next year, you really gotta work hard this year and next, not last minute than start to chong. Play music and just enjoy. I know its hard to when you guys are tired and feel all of this pressure is taxing and just weighing down on you guys. But can you at least have some pride in yourself? As in, maintain a certain standard or just improve. I mean, don't degrade yourself to a lousy sound, playing only for the sake of playing. You're in this together now. Encourage each other, play with each other. Do whatever you want with each other or whatever you do. ... Don't get that wrong. :x But yeah. Just really really do your best so that when you get out of that competition next year, you won't get any regrets like what some of you may have had last year. Get in there, do your best. No matter whether its a normal practice or a concert or whatever. Do your best each time. Put in that effort and apply whatever you know you should apply. Don't have the thoughts of, "I'm gonna die" or "I could have done this" or "i could have done that". Cuz it'll already be toooooo late. Just think about it, ok? I can't say ath else. So cheers to Zwinds. Your seniors will be rooting for you all the way and HAVE FAITH, aiight?
To the sec 4s and 5s: STUDY HARD and have fun doing it. (:
